Can I wear this indoors without overheating?
Yes. It's a light knit layer, not a coat. Most women wear it over a tee at home, at the office, or out for coffee without getting too warm.
Will the corduroy texture flatten where I lean on it?
The wale is knit into the fabric, not pressed on top. Normal wear at the elbows won't wipe it away.
Do the buttons at the cuffs actually open?
Yes. You can unbutton them to push the sleeves up, or leave them closed for a cleaner line.
Can I leave it open or does it need to be closed?
It's designed to wear open. The V-neck front drapes on its own and creates a long line down the body.
