Can I use this indoors and outdoors?
It's made for covered spots — just inside the door, or under a porch roof. Direct rain and sun will wear the velvet faster than it should.
How do I clean it?
Shake it out or vacuum it like you would a rug. For spots, blot with a damp cloth and a little mild soap, then let it air dry fully.
Which way should the writing face?

Will it work with a door that swings over it?
The mat is low-profile and sits flat, so most inward-swinging doors clear it. If your door has a tight gap at the bottom, check that clearance first.
