A long plaid scarf woven in 100% lamb wool, with a hand-knotted fringe at each end. At 190 cm it loops twice around the neck with plenty left over, and the wool softens with wear rather than going flat and shiny the way an acrylic blend does.
Looped twice over a camel coat, or draped open down the front of a navy blazer. It sits well on anything plain in cream, brown or black, and the fringe gives it enough weight to stay where you put it in the wind.
