The box is a one-time countdown — the doors open once. The 24 charms are the keepsake. Pack them away after the holidays and hang them again every year.
Do the charms come with hooks or string?
Each charm has a small opening at the top so it slips right onto a branch or a standard ornament hook. No tools, no assembly.
Is this okay for a child to open?
It's marked for ages 8 and up. The charms are small collectible pieces, so keep them away from toddlers and pets who might chew on them.
Can I open a few doors at once if I start late?
Of course. Plenty of people open two or three on day one to catch up. The order doesn't change anything — every door has its own cat.
