Does the hood lie flat, or does it bunch up at the neck?
The hood is soft and unlined, so it sits flat against your back when you're not wearing it. It won't push your collar up or add bulk under a coat.
Will the plaid pattern shift or fade in the wash?
Wash it cold with like colors and the pattern stays sharp. The brushed polyester knit is made to keep its color and its shape over time.
Can I wear this outside in cold weather, or is it more of an indoor layer?
