Does the hood stay down, or does it flop forward?
It's a soft knit hood, so it sits flat against your back when it's down. It's there when you want it, out of the way when you don't.
Can I wear this outside the house, or is it a lounge piece?
It reads as a cardigan, not a hoodie. Worn over a blouse or a tee with jeans or trousers, it looks intentional — not like you're in your pajamas.
Is there a closure, or does it hang open?
It's an open-front style with no buttons or zipper. That's what makes it easy to throw on and easy to layer over anything.
What should I do if I'm between two sizes?
This one is cut relaxed already. If you're between sizes, go with the smaller one — you'll still have room to layer underneath.
