How do I choose the right width?
Measure your rod from end to end. For a soft, gathered look, pick a width about one and a half to two times that number. For a flatter, smoother look, pick a width close to your rod length.
How much privacy does a half curtain give?
It covers the lower half of the glass, which is the part people can see into from the street or the yard. The top stays clear. If you want full cover at night, pair it with a blind.
Will it fit my curtain rod?
There is a sewn sleeve across the top. Slide a standard rod straight through it. Thin tension rods and standard café rods both work.
How do I care for the lace?
Wash it cold on a gentle cycle, then hang it to dry. The lace keeps its shape best when it is not tumbled or wrung out.
