What do I wear underneath it?
Anything with sleeves. A fitted tee, a thin turtleneck, or a long-sleeve knit all work. Keep the layer underneath slim so the vest keeps its clean line.
Can I wear it open, or is it meant to be buttoned?
Both. Buttoned gives you a sharp, dress-like shape for evenings out. Open over denim reads relaxed and casual for daytime.
Is it warm enough to wear as a coat?
It's a layering piece, not a winter coat. It's perfect for cool mornings and mild fall days, and it layers easily under a heavier coat when the temperature drops.
