Can I sit down comfortably in something this long?
Yes, the full-length zip opens from the bottom, so you can unzip a few inches before you sit or drive. It moves with you instead of pulling.
Will it look strange if I'm shorter than 5'4"?
It will hit lower on you — closer to mid-calf than the knee. Many shorter women prefer this, since the longer line is exactly what makes legs read longer.
Can I wear it indoors, or is it too warm?
Most women wear it open indoors and zipped outside. The knit breathes better than a padded coat, so it doesn't overheat in a store or car.
Does the hood stay up in wind?
It's a soft knit hood, so it drapes rather than stands stiff. It stays on in light wind but isn't a rigid weather hood.
